At the magnificent Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall, your experience varies by season. From March to October, enjoy a short boat tour, taking you right up close to the powerful cascades for an unforgettable, immersive view of the falls. From November to February, the visit focuses on the panoramic viewing platforms, where you can admire the falls from different perspectives. In both cases, all tickets are included.
Next, head to Schaffhausen. Begin with a guided walking tour of approximately 1 hour, where you’ll discover the charm of the historic old town, its medieval streets, and unique architectural details. After the guided portion, enjoy around 1 hour of free time to relax, have lunch at one of the local restaurants, and stroll through the town at your own pace before continuing your journey.
After an unforgettable half-day of sightseeing, travel back to Zurich by train. Sit back and relax as you make the journey together, with a convenient arrival at Zurich main train station, where your experience comes to a close.
