Join a half-day kayak tour from Bled to Lake Bohinj with scenic Alpine drive, picnic stop, moka pot coffee, and a refreshing swim in Triglav National Park. Small groups up to 6 people.
Start your adventure in Bled, where you’ll be picked up by your local guide and enjoy a scenic panoramic drive through the Julian Alps to Lake Bohinj in the heart of Triglav National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a short briefing and get familiar with your fast and stable sea kayaks, making the experience suitable even for beginners.
On the water, you’ll glide effortlessly across crystal-clear alpine waters, surrounded by dramatic peaks, quiet bays, and untouched nature. The route covers approximately 9 km of relaxed paddling, with time to explore hidden corners of the lake that are only accessible by kayak.
Midway through the tour, we stop at a lakeshore beach near the village of Ukanc for a relaxing picnic break with freshly brewed moka pot coffee. This popular but peaceful spot offers a relaxed atmosphere where you may also meet other visitors. Guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks, with dry bags provided for safe storage. On warm days, you can also enjoy a refreshing swim in Lake Bohinj before paddling back and returning to Bled with unforgettable memories of Triglav National Park.

Know before you go:
- Wear comfortable sports clothing and footwear. In the kayak, only shoes with soft soles are permitted.
- Light rain does not affect the tour and is not a reason for cancellation.
- You can safely store luggage and extra belongings in our van during the activity.
- Guests taller than 190 cm (6'3") may find the kayak seating position less comfortable.
- In the event of heavy rain, strong wind, or unsafe conditions, the tour may be cancelled and eligible for a full refund.
- No previous kayaking experience is required. A basic paddling introduction will be provided before departure.
