Join us on a full-day trip from Tbilisi to the beautiful Caucasus Mountains and discover some of Georgia’s most famous landmarks. Visit the scenic Zhinvali Reservoir, explore the historic Ananuri Fortress, see the meeting point of the Black and White Aragvi rivers, and enjoy panoramic mountain views from the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument in Gudauri. Continue to Stepantsminda, a picturesque mountain town surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Greater Caucasus. You will have the opportunity to visit the famous Gergeti Trinity Church and admire the breathtaking views of Mount Kazbek, weather permitting. The tour price does not include local 4x4 transportation to Gergeti Trinity Church. Guests who wish to use a local 4x4 vehicle can arrange and pay for this service separately on site. Guests may also choose to remain in Stepantsminda rather than continue to the church, provided they coordinate their plans with the guide and return arrangements. The itinerary and timing may change due to traffic, weather, road conditions, or safety restrictions. If a significant itinerary change becomes necessary, guests will be informed as soon as possible and may choose to accept the revised itinerary, reschedule for another date, or receive a full refund. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring clothing suitable for changing mountain weather.
