Begin your day with a pickup from your Kandy hotel in a private Tuk Tuk. Take a scenic, open-air drive to the Bambaragala Raja Maha Viharaya, a historic cave temple complex with ancient inscriptions.
Start your rewarding hike up Pettigala Rock, a moderately challenging climb that leads to a breathtaking summit with panoramic views over the Victoria Reservoir and the surrounding mountains.
After descending, hop back in the Tuk Tuk for a scenic drive through the hills towards the Hunnasgiriya area. Visit the stunning Hunnasgiriya Waterfall, a beautiful cascade in a serene setting, and make a stop at the Oruthota River View Point to capture photos of the picturesque landscape.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
The total duration of the tour is approximately 6-7 hours.
This tour is conducted by Tuk Tuk (open-air vehicle), offering an authentic local experience.
The Pettigala hike requires moderate fitness and sturdy walking shoes. The trail can be uneven.
Modest dress is mandatory for visiting the Bambaragala Temple (shoulders and knees must be covered).
Please bring sufficient cash (Sri Lankan Rupees) for any small entrance fees/donations and personal expenses.
We recommend bringing sun protection (hat, sunscreen) and a light raincoat, as highland weather can change quickly.
Your driver/guide will pick you up directly from your hotel or accommodation in Kandy. Please wait in the hotel lobby or at the main entrance at the confirmed pickup time.
Your guide will be arriving in a private Tuk Tuk and will be holding a sign with your name on it for easy identification.
