A rafting descent through the Sesia gorges, with rapids, dives, and the transfer of an impassable rapid make this the most adventurous activity we offer.
The Sesia Gorges are undoubtedly one of the most fascinating places to go rafting in northern Italy.
Characterized by intense rapids interspersed with small emerald-colored lakes, rafting in the Sesia Gorges is a 360° adventure.
Accompanied by a rafting tour guide, you will venture into a picturesque gorge where, in addition to rafting, those who wish can try their hand at rock climbing and discover the scouting and transfer techniques typical of those who navigate very wild river routes.
Given its characteristics, this descent is only possible in ideal water conditions, typically during the months of July, August, and September.
What do you need for rafting?
Although you will be provided with a flotation device (commonly known as a life jacket), it is advisable to know how to swim or not be afraid of water, have normal motor skills and, as this is an activity in a natural environment, not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The meeting point is at Alpin Rider Center, our outdoor and rafting hub located in Mollia at the foot of Monte Rosa in the province of Vercelli.
After completing the formalities, you will be given the technical equipment, and you will make a short transfer with our shuttle. Once you arrive at the embarkation point, your new adventure will begin.
A short briefing and a theory lesson will teach you the safety positions, how to paddle, and the commands that allow the group to paddle in a coordinated manner. Then it's off into the rapids!
There are lots of surprises during the descent! The choice of descent "lines" will be as challenging as you feel motivated to put yourself to the test, and for those who are doing it for the first time, there will be an exciting paddle through the rapids with more "traditional" lines.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
This activity will keep you busy for 3 hours and will start on time.
Exit the highway at Ghemme and head towards Monte Rosa, following the signs for Valsesia, Alagna. For those coming from Alagna, we are a 6-minute drive immediately after the center of Mollia.

- Included FREE in the price of the experience you will receive: technical equipment: wetsuit, water jacket, life jacket, helmet, and paddle; shuttle service: to the start of the chosen river section and from the landing point to the Alpin Rider Center base, helmet with GoPro mount, changing rooms, hot showers and toilets, free access to the relaxation area with deckchairs, umbrellas, beanbags and FREE trampoline for children, lockers with keys, parking.
NON INCLUS
- Not included in the participation fee, but available for an additional cost: GoPro rental with SD card delivery with footage of your experience, a wide range of food and drinks at the Alpin Bar, ebike rental.
