Description

Hike the seasonal Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail with a local Hmong guide, visit Thailand’s highest peak, and enjoy panoramic mountain views from the Royal Pagodas.
Escape the city for a day of mountain scenery, nature, and local culture at Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain.

After pickup from your hotel or the designated meeting point between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM, travel to Doi Inthanon National Park and begin your journey at the Doi Inthanon Summit, the highest point in Thailand at 2,565 meters above sea level.

Continue to the Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail, one of the park’s most scenic mountain trails. Accompanied by a local Hmong guide, trek approximately 3.2 km through cloud forest, open grassland, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the surrounding mountains. The trek typically takes 2 hours and includes sections of uphill and downhill walking.

After the trek, visit the King and Queen Pagodas, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens and mountain views.

Stop at a local Hmong market where you can browse seasonal produce and products from local communities.

Enjoy a Thai set lunch at a local restaurant. Vegetarian options are available.

In the afternoon, visit Mae Klang Luang Village, a Karen (Pgakenyaw) community known for coffee cultivation, traditional weaving, and mountain farming. Take time to stroll through the village and enjoy a cup of locally grown coffee.

Complete your day with a visit to Wachirathan Waterfall, one of Doi Inthanon National Park’s most impressive waterfalls.

Return to Chiang Mai with drop-off at your hotel or the original meeting point at approximately 6:00 PM–6:30 PM.
