From sampling Thai snacks at a local night market to savouring a delicious dinner of Khao Soi at a popular old-town restaurant, this trip will be a deep dive into the complex flavours of Northern Thai food. It will also feature historic and cultural landmarks along the way.
After meeting your tour guide and receive a safety briefing for walking and taking a local taxi (songthaew) during the tour. Start walking towards Chiang Mai Gate market to taste some local food and snacks, freshly prepared by street vendors.
Continue walking through the old city to reach the restaurant to enjoy a northern Thai dinner featuring the comforting coconut curry noodle soup of Khao Soi.
After a delicious meal, stroll towards the ancient Wat Chedi Luang to experience its magical ambience at night.
Visit Chang Peuk Gate market next to enjoy a refreshing fruit shake or Thai dessert. Take a songthaew ride to the flower market and walk around to observe the local flowers, fruits and food being sold.
Cross the Ping River on foot to see the temple of Wat Gate Garam. End the trip with a relaxing drink at a local bar by the Ping River and take a songthaew back to the Discova Day Tour Chiang Mai Shop or to your hotel if you book with private option.
