Discover the legendary Star Wars universe on a day trip from Djerba, following in the footsteps of the mythical planet Tatooine. After a 7:30 AM departure from your accommodation, you'll head to "Jektis," a desert region with spectacular landscapes, used for the outdoor scenes of the film *A New Hope*. You'll take a break to admire these natural settings worthy of the galaxy far, far away...
You'll then head to the coastal village of Ajim, where several iconic scenes were filmed:
– Obi-Wan Kenobi's house,
– the famous "Mos Eisley cantina",
– and the "Imperial checkpoint" with the stormtroopers.
After this dive into the cinematic universe, a typical lunch awaits you in Ajim at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, head to the Underground Mosque and then to Sidi Jmour, a white mosque by the sea, also seen in the film. You'll then enjoy free time to do as you please:
– an artistic stroll through 'Djerbahood', famous for its murals,
– or stroll through the medina of 'Houmet Souk', the island's artisanal heart.
You'll be back at your accommodation around 5:30 PM, with stars in your eyes.
