Day 1: Arrival at the Desert Camp & Bivouac Adventure
Arrive at the desert camp in the afternoon, located in the heart of the Sahara and accessible by regular vehicle. Be greeted with a warm welcome and traditional mint tea. Enjoy some free time to relax and soak in the peaceful desert surroundings.
Meet your local desert guide and camel handlers. Watch as the dromedaries are prepared with all necessary equipment, food, water, and tents. Safely leave any unnecessary belongings at the camp.
Set off on a camel trek into the vast open desert, accompanied by your local guide. Enjoy the silence, endless dunes, and a magical sunset in the middle of the Sahara. Arrive at the chosen bivouac location and enjoy some free time to relax, walk on the dunes, and take in the views.
Prepare dinner together with your guide. Watch a demonstration of traditional bread baked in the sand. Savor an authentic Saharan dinner, including meat couscous and fresh sand-baked bread. Spend an unforgettable evening under the stars, sharing stories around the campfire. Spend the night in a Saharan camping tent.
Day 2: Sunrise, Breakfast & Return
Wake up surrounded by dunes and complete silence. Enjoy a traditional breakfast including coffee, sand-baked bread, jam, dates, and butter. Pack your equipment and ride back by camel to the desert camp.
Access showers and take some time to relax before departure.

You will arrive at the Dunes Insolites camp, where you will find our colleagues waiting for you. Please make yourself comfortable in the camp’s waiting area until departure for the bivouac toward the vast desert.
