Description
This tour takes in Cappadocia's most common route in a small group (Max 12 Pax) led by a professional, English speaking tour guide with fully respecting to all our guests' inquiries and questions.
Start the tour with Love Valley. Locals have proudly dubbed the area “Love Valley” which is just one of the many treats in store in Cappadocia, a fascinating corner of it. After picturing these unique rock formations, the first balloon take-off site in the region, Red Valley and Mount Erciyes, we drive to Pasabag in other words Monks Valley. The valley has got some of the most interesting fairy chimneys in Cappadocia with twin and triple rock caps which are unique. Get ready for a short walk around them to understand the main concept of the area. Next stop will be Zelve Open-air Museum which is the largest cave village in the World. Withness how the ancient cave dwellers used to make wine in rock-carved wineries, crush the grains in primitive cavern mills, bake the dough in tandoories, raise the pigeons for their droppings to enhance the productivity of their crops. Next stop is Devrent in other words Imagination Valley. This is a place to let your mind run free in a seemingly lunar landscape with rock formations that look like animals. The Devrent Valle has none of the cave ruins that are famous throughout the rest of Cappadocia; but what it does have is an extraordinary landscape shaped by nature to make you laugh and wonder and explore. Best part of the tour next! Lunch time! Enjoy the lunch at an open buffet with many food options for travellers from all aound the world. After the lunch next stop is Avanos, a town and district that is noted for its Turkish craft skills. Rug-weaving and pottery-making are important local skills. In this little town you witness how the Cappadocian women have been giving life to loops, unravelling silk cocoons, dyeing the wool using natural plants for generations and men still kicking the ancient Hittite kick-wheel in order to shape the red soil which is obtained from the old banks of the longest river in Turkey, the Red River. Before calling it a day, enjoy the breathtaking scneery of Uchisar Castle which is the tallest fairy chimney in the region and the first skyscrapper of the written history.
