From Seattle, we drive the Cascade Loop Scenic Byway to Leavenworth, where we spend a few hours. On the drive, we view Deception Falls in an old forest, the 270-foot Snoqualmie Falls, and lakes
We meet in downtown Seattle and drive for a few hours on a scenic drive through the Cascades over Stevens Pass to Leavenworth. We stop at Deception Falls, where we walk in an old-growth forest for about 15 minutes and view the upper and lower falls. In the quaint Bavarian village of Leavenworth, you will spend 3 hours exploring the Bavarian culture on your own, and there is a selection of restaurants where you can buy lunch.
After visiting Leavenworth, we continue on the loop drive through the Cascades over Snoqualmie Pass back to Seattle, where we stop at the impressive 270-foot Snoqualmie Falls and view the nearby Borst Lake, where the steep Mount Si is often reflected.
