Explore Mai Chau and Pu Luong in 3 days with cycling, trekking, silk weaving, bamboo rafting, cooking class, waterfall visit, and buffalo cart ride through Northern Vietnam villages.
Experience rural Northern Vietnam on a 3-day journey through Mai Chau Valley and Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Travel by bicycle and on foot through rice fields and ethnic Thai villages, learn traditional silk weaving, enjoy bamboo rafting on Cham Stream, join a cooking class, and experience a buffalo cart ride. This tour combines nature landscapes with local cultural activities.

Day 1: Hanoi / Ninh Binh – Mai Chau – Pu Luong (Lunch, Dinner)

Pick up from Hanoi Old Quarter or Ninh Binh. Travel to Mai Chau Valley.

Arrive in Mai Chau and have lunch at a traditional house. Cycle through villages and rice fields, visit local brocade workshops, and continue to Nhim Cave for panoramic valley views.

Late afternoon transfer to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Check in at the lodge and enjoy dinner.

Overnight in Pu Luong.

Day 2: Pu Luong Discovery (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Visit Lan Village to learn traditional silk weaving.

Continue to Chieng Lau Village to see ancient water wheels and local farming practices.

Trek approximately 4 km to Cham Stream. Enjoy bamboo rafting through forests and villages, followed by lunch on the raft.

Afternoon activity (depending on conditions):
• Hieu Waterfall
OR
• Kho Muong trekking and Bat Cave visit

Return to lodge in the afternoon.

Overnight in Pu Luong.

Day 3: Cycling – Cooking Class – Buffalo Cart – Return (Breakfast, Lunch)

Cycle through Chieng Ai Village, visit local families, learn about rice wine production, and join a cooking class for lunch.

Experience a buffalo cart ride before transferring back to Hanoi or Ninh Binh.

Tour ends in the late afternoon / early evening.
