Trade the city for the Klein Karoo on this half-day Big 5 safari game drive, roughly a two-hour drive from Cape Town. This afternoon excursion times your visit for prime wildlife-viewing as the heat breaks, animals move toward waterholes, giving you your best chance to spot lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard against a golden sky.

After pickup and the scenic drive out to the malaria-free reserve, settle in with a welcome drink and light snacks before boarding an open 4x4 safari vehicle. Your ranger leads a 2–3 hour game drive across the reserve, sharing insight into animal behaviour and the Klein Karoo landscape as the sun sets, before the drive back to Cape Town.
