Begin with pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Salzburg and travel through the Salzkammergut in a private car or minivan. Your driver-guide provides live commentary and practical assistance during the journey.

On arrival in Hallstatt, your included combination ticket gives you round-trip travel on the Hallstatt funicular, access to the World Heritage Skywalk, and admission to the Hallstatt Salt Mine. Ride the funicular to the high valley and enjoy panoramic views from the Skywalk over Hallstatt, the lake, and the surrounding Alps.

Continue on foot for approximately 15 minutes to the Salt Mine entrance. The underground experience is conducted by the official Salzwelten Hallstatt attraction staff. Put on the provided miners' clothing and follow the official guided route through historic tunnels, miners' slides, multimedia displays, and the underground salt lake before leaving the mountain by mine train. The guided mine tour lasts approximately 90 minutes; allow around three hours for the complete funicular, Skywalk, and Salt Mine visit.

After returning to the village, receive a short orientation from your driver-guide and enjoy free time to explore Hallstatt at your own pace, have lunch, walk along the lakefront, visit Market Square, or shop for souvenirs.

If the funicular, Skywalk, or Salt Mine unexpectedly cannot operate and the included visit cannot be provided, guests will receive a full refund. The Salt Mine is open only to children aged four and over and is not wheelchair accessible. The visit includes an approximately two-kilometre underground walking route. Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes and bring warm clothing, as the mine remains around 8°C throughout the year.
