Explore Yellow Dragon Cave in the Suoxiyu area of Zhangjiajie’s Wulingyuan Scenic Area. This large karst cave features four levels, underground rivers, vast limestone chambers, natural waterfalls, stalactites, stalagmites, and stone columns formed over millions of years.
The developed route is approximately 3.2 kilometers long. It combines walking with an underground boat ride and follows a one-way route. The cave remains approximately 16–18°C throughout the year.
Choose the e-ticket option for an independent visit, including cave admission, the standard Xiangshui River boat ride, and shared Chinese-language live commentary provided by the scenic area. Alternatively, choose the private English-guided tour, which includes the admission e-ticket, standard underground boat ride, and a private English-speaking guide providing live English commentary and route guidance. The scenic-area Chinese commentary applies to the e-ticket option; language, schedule, and availability are subject to on-site arrangements.
The route includes Dragon Dance Hall, Tianxian Waterfall, Dragon Palace Hall, Dinghai Shenzhen, and the main cave chambers. Allow approximately 2–2.5 hours for ticket verification, walking, the boat ride, and sightseeing. The actual duration depends on visitor numbers and walking speed.
