Departing from Cannigione, one of the closest gateways to the Archipelago, Virginia is ideal for visitors staying in North Sardinia, Olbia, Costa Smeralda, San Teodoro and surrounding areas.
Unlike traditional boat tours, Virginia moors at dedicated buoys just a few metres from the shoreline. Guests can reach the coast with a short swim or simply enjoy the crystal-clear waters around the boat. This approach helps preserve the fragile marine ecosystem while allowing longer swimming stops.
Your first stop is Cala dell'Amore on Spargi Island, a beautiful bay reserved exclusively for Virginia during its authorised time slot, with approximately 1h15 for swimming.
Continue to Porto della Madonna (Piscine Naturali) for approximately 1h30 in one of the Mediterranean's most spectacular natural lagoons, famous for its shallow turquoise waters.
The day also includes free time in La Maddalena, where you can explore the historic centre, local boutiques and island atmosphere.
Virginia features three spacious decks, indoor and outdoor panoramic areas, two bars, an onboard restaurant and pizzeria with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, fresh-water showers, free Wi-Fi and multilingual audio guides.

Important information
Reaching the shoreline requires a short swim. The experience is not suitable for non-swimmers, wheelchair users or guests with mobility impairments. Life jackets and floating boards are provided free of charge. Guests who prefer not to swim can relax on board.

The Virginia Sea Shuttle is a more active experience aboard a Zodiac and is recommended for guests comfortable at sea and looking for a closer connection with the natural environment.

• The boat leaves at 9:30 sharp and it is recommend to show up at the check-in point between 8h30 - 9h20 am. Late arrivals will not be accepted onboard
• Customers must pass through the check-in point before boarding
• There's a bar on board where you can buy lunch and drinks
• The local partner does not use plastic on the boat, but you can buy a reusable bottle with unlimited water refills or you can refill at the bar with your bottle
• In order to respect the natural environment and preserve the archipelago, the boat does not dock directly on the islands but instead stops very close to the coast so that you will wade in shallow water or swim for a very short distance to reach the shore
• In the high season, it is necessary to allow an extra 40 minutes of travelling time in addition to the navigator's directions to reach the meeting point.
For those coming from Olbia, San Teodoro, Budoni and the surrounding area, we recommend arriving by 8.30 a.m.
The meeting point is on the dock in front of the Cutter Lounge & Restaurant. Find the Virginia Team wearing a uniform with the easily recognizable Virginia logo.
You must arrive at 8:30 AM to carry out check-in procedures. Check-in will not be possible for those who arrive too close to the 9:30 AM departure. In high season periods, like July or August, the traffic will be very heavy. If you are coming from the Olbia, San Teodoro, or surrounding areas, add 40 minutes to your expected arrival time and to your GPS' estimation, if using a GPS.
