The big gray flak bunker was built during World War II to protect the population and spent many decades as an emergency shelter, material storage, vaccination station, and of course, a shelter during the Cold War. After reunification, the concrete giant got a new lease on life. Today, you can not only climb there, but also party, experience concerts and readings, enjoy delicious food, and even stay in the hotel. Over 4,700 trees and large shrubs are growing into a forest there and are automatically watered with rainwater. A way for our cities to get ready for the future.

We'll climb the building via the mountain path. It's not barrier-free. Our bags are checked at the entrance. You can bring your cameras, but these aren't allowed:
- Drink bottles made of glass, hard plastic, or metal
PET bottles bigger than a liter
- Food (to cut down on waste)

- Alcohol
- Strollers
You can leave unauthorized items with the supervisor at the turnstile, but it's your own risk
We recommend you bring:
