Depart from Guatemala City and visit the Mayan archaeological site of Tikal, located in Tikal National Park, on a full-day tour. Learn more about this UNESCO World Heritage Site on a guided tour.
Travel from Guatemala City to Tikal on a full-day tour. Enjoy an early morning flight from Guatemala International Airport to Mundo Maya Airport in Flores, at which point you will then be transferred to Tikal archaeological site.
While in Tikal National Park, you will have the opportunity to walk through the jungle and admire the many species of local flora and fauna. The park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, includes untamed nature, as well as many main temples, plazas, and altars. As you tour the site, your guide will share with you the history of the site and share insights about the Mayan culture.
At the end of the tour a traditional lunch will be served. In the afternoon, return to the airport for your flight back to Guatemala City.

• Please note that your transfer from the airport to your hotel after the return flight is shared with other passengers. If the airline arrives earlier than the scheduled arrival time of your flight, you may have to wait at the airport until the other passengers arrive.
• Please wear walking/hiking boots as you will be walking 3-4 hours, often in wet weather. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access.
• Please bring hat, sunglasses, sunblock, camera, bug repellent, thin pants, rain gear, long sleeve t-shirts, personal medication, & your passport (required)
