Itinerary: Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek 8 Days
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Rest and prepare for the trek ahead.
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Enjoy a scenic drive to Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region. Spend the evening exploring Phewa Lake or relaxing by the lakeside.
Day 3: Drive to Birethanti – Trek to Ulleri Village (1,950 m, 5 hrs)
Drive 2 hours from Pokhara to Birethanti, the starting point of the trek. Begin your hike through lush forests and terraced fields to reach Ulleri Village, famous for its stone staircase climb. Overnight stay in a cozy teahouse.
Day 4: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,874 m, 6–7 hrs)
Trek uphill through rhododendron forests and traditional villages to Ghorepani. Enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges along the way. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 5: Hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) – Trek to Tadapani (2,721 m, 6–7 hrs)
Early morning hike to Poon Hill to witness a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise. After sunrise, descend and continue trekking to Tadapani through beautiful forests and panoramic viewpoints. Overnight stay in Tadapani.
Day 6: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,951 m, 3 hrs) – Drive to Pokhara (3–4 hrs)
Trek downhill to the picturesque village of Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung settlement. After exploring the village, drive back to Pokhara for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu via a scenic drive. Spend the evening at leisure or explore local markets.
Day 8: Final Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
