2-day tour to the Colca Valley and the Condor Cross

Visit the Colca Valley for 2 days to explore fields and villages with ancestral customs. In addition, from the viewpoint on the edge of the gorge you can admire the majestic flight of eagles.
ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arequipa - Chivaya
After picking you up at your accommodation in Arequipa, we will leave the city and enter the Colca Valley, passing the national monuments of Salinas and Aguada Blanca in three hours, stopping at the viewpoint of Patapampa at 4830 meters of altitude!

Between lagoons and wetlands we arrive at our first destination: Chivay. This traditional village will welcome us at an altitude of 3600 meters. In the afternoon, after recovery, we visit the thermal baths of La Calera. We will be able to immerse ourselves in its waters and enjoy its well-known curative properties.
We will return to Chivaya, where we will have the opportunity to experience the Kolka Valley in its clearest afternoon. Dinner and dancing? While tasting the local flavors, we will also be able to see a typical dance show, which is the best way to end the day!

Day 2: Chivay - Macca - Yanque - Arequipa
We have breakfast at our hotel in Chihuay and continue our tour of the Colca Valley. At first light we arrive at the iconic Mirador de la Cruz del Condor. There we will spend an hour watching the flight of the condors and discovering the Kolka Canyon crater, one of the deepest volcanic craters in the world!

We are on the road again and will make two stops on the way back to Chivay. The first will be to explore Macca, a town declared a historical monument of Peru. The church will welcome us as the main building and the locals and their customs will invite us to discover some of their traditions. We will also visit the small village of Janka, located in the heart of the Kolka valley.
We return to Chivay for lunch on our own before saying goodbye to the city and heading back to Arequipa. The tour ends at approximately 5:00 pm.
