Arequipa: One-Day Colca Canyon Tour

A superb tour that takes us to discover Arequipa's main attraction, a canyon of immense depth, the flight of the condor, villages with traditional culture, as well as exquisite hot springs.
03:00 AM a 03:30 AM 01 DAY kicks off with us picking everyone up from their hotels in Arequipa. We'll zoom straight to Cruz del Condor, only pausing to refuel with breakfast.
Around 08:30, we'll hit Cruz del Condor—home to one of Earth's deepest canyons and a sanctuary for majestic condors. On our way back, we'll hit up the charming towns of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque, famous for their colonial churches. Then it's off to Antahuilque and Choquetico Viewpoints for pre-Inca tombs, stunning Colca landscapes, and a glimpse of local culture with traditional outfits, llamas, and trained birds. Oh, and don't forget to try the Colca Sour—crafted from local Sancayo!
By 11:30, we'll dip into Chacapi's natural thermal baths—where soaking is as scenic as it gets.
Come 12:30, we'll dig into a hearty lunch in Chivay before heading back to Arequipa.
At 1:30 p.m., we'll stop at the volcano viewpoint (4,910 meters high!), the Tocrapampa wetlands (home to wild birds, alpacas, and llamas), and Pampa Cañahuas—where you'll spy vicuñas, those elegant creatures known for their super-fine fibers.
Around 5:00 p.m., we'll roll back into Arequipa, filled to the brim with memories of a day well spent in Colca Canyon!
