FROM AREQUIPA PILLONES WATERFALLS + ROCK FOREST

We will visit a part of the salt flats reserve, Patapampa the traditional village, together with them we will visualize the camelids such as alpaca, vicuña, guanaco.
DETAILED ITINERARY:
06:15am to 06:45am - We will pick you up from your Hotel in the city of Arequipa and transfer you to the Pillones Waterfall , in approximately 02 hours we will be arriving at the starting point of the trek. We will make our first stop in the village of Pampa de Arrieros which was formerly the entrance to the white city for people arriving aboard the train.

10:30am - We will arrive at the starting point of the hike, a somewhat complicated descent. We will pack warm clothes since the altitude (4,000 meters above sea level) makes it quite cold. We will begin a 30-minute hike downhill, somewhat difficult, to reach the waterfall of pillones, we will have to go down a slope of rocks very carefully, and a journey along the side of a river before reaching the waterfall.

11:00 am - we will arrive at the Pillones Waterfall, where we can take all the pictures we can imagine, we will be an average of 45 minutes in the place.

Before returning to the point where our transportation will be waiting for us, we will gather the whole group and have a group photo.

12:30pm - We will start the tour to reach the Puruña Stone Forest.

01:00pm - We will arrive at the forest of stones of Puruña where we will be an average of 40 minutes to take all the pictures that our imagination allows us.

01:40pm - We will have lunch in the village of Imata before returning to Arequipa.

03:00pm - We will start the return trip to the city of Arequipa.

05:00pm - We will arrive to Arequipa downtown and drop you off near the main square.
