Embark on an adventurous 2-day tour of the Lake Titicaca area. Discover some of the highlights located in and around Puno, Uros, Taquile and Cusco, stopping with plenty of time to soak up the local atmosphere and experience the main attractions. Overnight in Puno and savor the tasty local cuisine along the way.
Day 1: Cusco to Puno with stops You will be picked up at your hotel at 6:30 a.m. to head to the tourist bus station in Puno. During the trip, enjoy a series of exciting stops at different tourist centers and attractions. Start with a 35-minute visit to the Andahuaylillas Temple of the Sistine Chapel of America and prepare to be amazed. Later, explore the Raqchi Archaeological Complex, before arriving in Sicuani, where you can enjoy a buffet lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Paso la Raya, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Explore the Pucara Lithic Museum. Arrival at your hotel in Puno. You will be met by a pick-up service at 7:15 a.m. and transferred to the port of Puno. Board your boat and head to the Uros, where you will participate in a cultural demonstration that will allow you to discover their way of life. Visit the Taquile Islands and learn about the local culture. Take a beautiful walk full of amazing photo opportunities. Break for lunch in the afternoon at a local restaurant where there will be a local menu of fried trout and quinoa soup where you can see the life of the Taquile people. Then return to Puno in the afternoon, usually around 4 pm. You will then return to the hotel, where you can wait in the waiting room and go out for dinner on your own.
