Day 1: Your adventure begins with pickup from Djerba or Zarzis. We cross the historic Roman Causeway and continue toward Medenine, where you’ll explore its traditional market and famous Ghorfas granaries. The journey continues into the mountains of Toujane, a breathtaking Berber village carved into the landscape, offering panoramic views and a deep sense of heritage.

Next, we head to Matmata, home to the world-famous troglodyte underground houses. Here, you will step inside these unique dwellings and also visit the Star Wars filming museum, a must-see for cinema lovers and curious travelers alike. As the day winds down, we reach the legendary Ksar Ghilane Oasis, where the desert truly comes alive. Relax in natural hot springs, and optionally enjoy a camel or quad bike ride across the dunes. In the evening, experience a traditional desert party, including local food culture and the famous “Mella” bread baked under the sand. Spend the night in a private desert tent under a spectacular sky filled with stars.

Day 2: Wake up to a peaceful Sahara sunrise before heading toward Chenini, a dramatic mountain-top Berber village known for its “hidden” architecture blending into the rock. Enjoy a guided visit and light hike through its ancient paths. We then continue to Tataouine for a traditional local lunch experience.

Before returning, we make a final unique stop at the Zarzis Salt Lake, timed specifically for the best lighting conditions. Walk across the shimmering salt surface, touch its unique textures, and capture unforgettable photos before heading back to your hotel, having experienced Southern Tunisia in its most authentic and uncrowded form.
