From Kampala: 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari with Lodging

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls

After breakfast, meet your driver-guide and travel north toward Murchison Falls National Park. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking safari to observe southern white rhinos in their natural habitat.

Enjoy lunch en route before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit the Top of the Falls, where the River Nile is forced through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically into the river below.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise

Begin the day with an early morning game drive across Murchison Falls National Park’s northern savannah. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, warthogs and, with some luck, leopards.

Return to Tilenga Safari Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the River Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. The riverbanks provide excellent opportunities to see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and various waterbirds.

After the cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast at Tilenga Safari Lodge, check out and begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Stop for lunch along the way and arrive during the late afternoon or early evening, depending on traffic and your final drop-off point.
