Experience the thrill of whitewater kayaking in Chester. Paddle through the city, tackle the Chester Weir rapids, and learn the basics from an experienced instructor.
Meet at Sandy Lane in Chester and paddle down through town to the mighty Chester Weir, where a set of water steps have been built for fish to pass up the river. These steps also serve as an excellent play spot for kayakers. Once done, head back upstream, soaking up the sights along the way.
Under the guidance of expert instructors, get a taster for what white water kayaking is all about. No kayaking experience is necessary, but it helps if you have a degree of fitness and coordination, an open mind, and a can-do attitude.
By the end of the experience, not only will you have learned a bit more about kayaking, but you'll also have conquered your first rapids in your own boat.

Non swimmers are welcome but should identify themselves to the instructor
Customers should arrive already in the swimwear they will wear beneath their wetsuit during the trip. Bring closed toe footwear for the activity such as an old pair of trainers, and a towel or changing robe for use after the session has finished
Session start time is subject to alteration if it conflicts with high tides.
