Guilin: Ludi Rock, Fuli Bridge, & Yangshuo Day Trip

Discover the beauty of Guilin on a guided day trip. Explore Ludi Rock, visit the ancient Fuli Bridge, stroll through Yangshuo’s West Street, and ascend Ruyi Peak by cable car.
Begin your day at Ludi Rock, a scenic spot known for its caves and stunning views of mountains, waters, and countryside. Explore the 240-meter-deep cave, which features 77 murals from various dynasties, and learn about its history as a popular tourist destination since the Tang Dynasty.

Next, head to Fuli Bridge, an ancient bridge on the Yulong River in Yangshuo. Built in the Ming Dynasty, it is one of the three major ancient bridges in Yangshuo and served as a filming location for the movie Liu Sanjie. Admire the bridge as it spans the clear Yulong River, resembling the finishing touch of an ink painting.

After experiencing the charm of the ancient bridge, choose to take a bamboo raft to Yangshuo or drive directly to Yangshuo with your guide. Upon arrival, stroll around Yangshuo West Street, where you can see traditional Lingnan architecture, antique gatehouses, and bluestone-paved roads, all of which reveal a strong historical heritage.

Then, head to Moon Mountain to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the large lawn in Licun and take photos of holding the moon. (Currently, Moon Mountain is undergoing upgrading and renovation, and climbing is not allowed.)

Finally, drive to Ruyi Peak, the last attraction of your itinerary. Ascend the mountain by aerial cable car, with a total distance of 1,728 meters and a relative height difference of 241 meters. Arriving at the top of the mountain, overlook the long and winding karst forest, with undulating peaks and scattered fields, as if even the contours of distant mountains are within reach.
