From Sarajevo: Srebrenica Genocide Tour

Learn about the Srebrenica genocide, which occurred in 1995 during the Bosnian War and caused the mass murder of over 8,000 Muslim Bosniaks, primarily men and boys, around the town of Srebrenica.
The trip begins at 8 AM at Sebilj, one of the most recognizable symbols of Sarajevo, located in the main pedestrian street. However, you can schedule it from another location upon request. Sarajevo is about two and a half hours away from Srebrenica. The road passes through a barren, hilly region with stunning scenery. You will begin studying Yugoslavian history while taking in the scenery, which will help you comprehend the Srebrenica atrocity.

The car battery factory, which was utilized by UN forces during the Bosnian conflict, is where you should start. The Museum of Srebrenica Genocide, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most advanced museums, is located in the former headquarters of the Dutch battalion of UN forces. Meet the curator there and hear first-hand accounts of people who survived in the Srebrenica enclave. Proceed to the Memorial Room from the Museum of Srebrenica Genocide to hear the victims' testimonies, which were captured on camera by a local reporter. Additionally, a portion of the Memorial Room is devoted to the perpetrators of the massacre.

The Memorial cemetery is where victims who were located and recognized are laid to rest. There are currently 6782 victims at the cemetery; however, this figure is increasing annually. Proceed to the city of Srebrenica after visiting the Potocari Memorial Center. Srebrenica, one of the region's oldest cities and a once industrial powerhouse, is now a ghost city. Since there aren't many restaurants close by, lunch is also held in Srebrenica. After Srebrenica, head back to Sarajevo, where your tour will come to a close at approximately 6 PM.
