Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie

Arrive in Zhangjiajie and meet your driver at the airport or train station. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Wulingyuan, taking in the scenic mountain and countryside views along the way.

After checking in, spend the afternoon at your leisure. Stroll along Xibu Old Street to experience the local Tujia culture and get acclimated to the mountain climate. In the evening, relax at your hotel and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Start your day with a ride on the Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest outdoor elevator. Ascend 326 meters in just one minute to reach the top of the mountain, where you’ll be surrounded by stunning quartz sandstone peaks.

Explore Yuanjiajie, home to the famous Avatar Hallelujah Mountain (Qiankun Pillar). Walk along the Enchanted Terrace and the First Bridge Under Heaven, enjoying 360-degree views of the towering peaks shrouded in mist.

Stop for a traditional Tujia lunch on the mountain before continuing to the Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve. Take the Tianzi Mountain Cableway to reach the best panoramic viewpoint in Zhangjiajie. Visit Helong Park, the West Sea Stone Forest, Imperial Brush Peak, and the Fairy Scattering Flowers, capturing breathtaking photos of the stone pillars.

In the evening, return to your hotel in Wulingyuan by eco-friendly shuttle bus.

Day 3: Tianmen Mountain

Begin your day with a ride on the world’s longest mountain cableway, a 7.5-kilometer journey that offers sweeping views of Zhangjiajie city, the 99 Bends Road, and the surrounding mountains and clouds.

At the top, challenge yourself on the glass skywalk, suspended 1,400 meters above the ground. Walk to the Tianmen Cave, the world’s highest natural mountain cave, and admire the 131.5-meter-high stone arch, a natural wonder formed over millions of years.
