Descrizione

Explore southern Armenia on a full-day tour from Yerevan. Visit the historic Tatev Monastery, explore Khndzoresk Gorge, admire Shaki Waterfall, and enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery.
Begin your tour at the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan and travel comfortably by vehicle with a guide as you journey through the scenic landscapes of southern Armenia.

Your first stop is a local winery in Areni, where you can taste local wines and learn more about Armenia's wine-making traditions.

Continue to Shaki Waterfall and enjoy time to admire the natural scenery and take photographs. Please note that reaching the waterfall requires some walking.

Next, visit Khndzoresk, a spectacular gorge known for its dramatic rock formations and historic cave dwellings. Walk through the area and cross the famous Khndzoresk Swinging Bridge. The road to Khndzoresk can be difficult, and reaching the bridge requires descending stairs, so comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.

Continue to the Tatev area and visit the historic Tatev Monastery, one of Armenia's most significant medieval religious and cultural landmarks.

During the Tatev part of the tour, you may optionally experience the Wings of Tatev ropeway. The cable car is not included in the tour price. A one-way ticket is available as an optional extra for AMD 6,500. A round-trip cable-car ticket is not available as part of this group tour.

Two food stops are planned during the journey. Food and drinks are not included in the tour price.

The tour is scheduled to end in Yerevan at approximately 22:00. The return time is approximate and may vary by 1–2 hours depending on traffic, road conditions, weather, and other circumstances during the day.

Please be prepared for a long day with walking and stairs. We recommend wearing comfortable sports shoes and clothing and bringing a hat, sunglasses, warm clothing, a raincoat, and sunscreen. Weather conditions may differ significantly between Yerevan and the regions visited.

If participants speaking different languages are part of the same group, the tour may be conducted in two languages.

This tour combines Armenia's cultural heritage, spectacular mountain scenery, local wine traditions, and some of southern Armenia's most memorable attractions in one full-day experience.
