Walk around the castle-like temple, which has served as a place of worship for multiple religions. Learn about its history, dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries.

After exploring the temple, see the hillside fire that gives the historical site its name. Drive to Yanar Dag and be shown the flames, which are fed by natural gas emanating from the sandstone and can flare up to 10 feet high.
