Baku: 2-Day Astara & Sım Village Nature and Hiking Tour

Leave the busy streets of Baku behind and head toward the lush green landscapes of southern Azerbaijan on this unforgettable 2-day hiking and nature tour.

Your journey begins early in the morning with departure from Baku toward the Astara region. After approximately 4–5 hours of scenic driving through changing landscapes, arrive near the remote mountain village of Sım.

As regular vehicles cannot fully access the village, the final 2 kilometers are completed with legendary Soviet-style UAZ off-road vehicles, adding adventure and excitement to the experience.

After arriving at the village guesthouse, enjoy a homemade local lunch prepared with natural village ingredients before taking some time to relax.

In the afternoon, begin your first hiking program through forests and mountain nature. Explore beautiful natural attractions including:

Zərbülün Lake
Hovuz Waterfall
Forest hiking trail to Noğ Cave

After the hike, return to the guesthouse for a traditional village-style dinner and peaceful overnight stay surrounded by nature.

On the second day, wake up to a fresh countryside breakfast prepared with local organic products including honey, cheese, cream, eggs, and traditional dairy products.

The day’s hiking route begins around 10:00 and includes:

Ballı Qaya viewpoint
Dustaqxana Waterfall near Angivina and Sım village

After returning to the guesthouse, taste authentic Azerbaijani homemade dishes for lunch including:

In the evening, depart back to Baku with arrival expected around midnight.
