The adventure begins with a scenic boat trip departing from the local cove. Before setting sail, the captain provides a short safety briefing, then the boat heads toward Lobos Island, navigating through rocky coastal formations and open waters rich in marine life.
As the boat approaches the island, the speed is reduced to allow a safe and respectful observation of the wildlife. It is common to see sea lions resting on the rocks, along with a wide variety of seabirds. During certain seasons, lucky travelers may also spot Humboldt penguins in their natural habitat. After enjoying the views and taking photos, the boat returns to the cove.
