Begin your adventure with a pickup from your Guilin hotel. First, visit Reed Flute Cave, an underground world of colorful lights, limestone formations, and surprising shapes your guide will help you spot along the way.

Afterward, head toward the river and slow the pace for the day’s highlight: Li River bamboo rafting near Yangdi. Drift between dramatic karst mountains, watch rural life along the banks, and enjoy the kind of peaceful scenery people travel to Guilin for.

Next, wander through Xingping Ancient Town, a charming riverside settlement with old streets, local snacks, and photo spots that don’t need filters. Then it’s time for a short climb up Xianggong Hill, one of the best panoramic viewpoints in the region—an iconic look over the Li River winding through sharp limestone peaks.

In the evening, arrive in Yangshuo for free time on West Street, where you can choose your own dinner vibe (your guide can help with ordering). Finish with the famous outdoor performance Impression Liu Sanjie—a dramatic show of lights, music, and choreography staged against the real Li River and karst mountains. After the show, you’ll be driven back to Guilin, or dropped off at your Yangshuo hotel if you’re staying overnight there.
