Your morning starts at 7:00 AM with a pickup for the National Forest Park. Soar to the mountain top via the Bailong Elevator. From there, explore the core "Avatar" landscapes, including the floating Hallelujah Mountain and the massive natural stone bridges.
Tianmen Mountain (12:00–16:00) | Guided
A short drive leads directly to the base of Tianmen Mountain. Experience the mountain’s dramatic verticality via its world-class cableway system, offering a bird's-eye view of the winding 99-bend road. On the summit, walk the cliff-clinging Glass Skywalk, explore the magnificent Tianmen Cave, and take on the challenge of the 999-step Heavenly Staircase.
Fenghuang Ancient Town (17:00–21:00) | Self-Guided
Your guide will escort you to the station for the 1-hour high-speed train.
At Fenghuanggucheng Railway Station, a vehicle provides round-trip transfers to Fenghuang Ancient Town. Enjoy the evening at your own pace—wander the cobblestone lanes, admire the iconic stilted houses lining the Tuojiang River and witness the riverside lit up with glowing red lanterns.
After your visit, take the return train to Zhangjiajie, where a vehicle will be waiting at the station to transfer you back to your hotel.
