Experience Gran Canaria’s most magical night under the stars. This premium small-group guided tour offers a magical evening of astronomy and nature.

If you select the Option with Pick Up, we will pick you up from your hotel or a pick up point in the South of the island and drop you back there at the end of the tour. If you choose the Self Drive option then you will drive yourself in your car for the entire tour. You will meet us at the meeting point, and then follow the lead Stargazing Gran Canaria vehicle. (Please be sure to pick the correct option when choosing your tour)

We will take a scenic sunset drive through the island’s spectacular mountain landscapes enjoying a peaceful drive past mountain canyons, palm tree oases, and picturesque Canarian villages like Arteara, Fataga, and San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Our first stop will be at the stunning Mirador Astronómico de la Degollada de las Yeguas, overlooking what’s often called the Grand Canyon of Gran Canaria. Here we will take in the views and snap some photos before continuing the journey into the island’s rugged interior to a remote stargazing location for an unforgettable dark sky experience.

The remote stargazing site is near the small village of La Plata. Here you will enjoy a glass of cava or juice, with the Pico de las Nieves as your backdrop, while the expert team sets up the telescopes. The changing colours of the sky provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation.

With little light pollution and clear island skies, the Canary Islands are one of the best stargazing locations in the world. Using powerful telescopes, our passionate guides will show you planets, galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters. Enjoy a laser-guided constellation tour, live deep sky photography displayed on tablets, and fascinating facts and stories about the universe.

Located at around 1800m of elevation, complimentary winter coats are provided to keep you warm during the cooler evenings.
