Descrizione

Scandinavian local tour provider since 2015, trusted for punctuality and local expertise. Explore Tallinn’s medieval Old Town, Toompea Hill, hidden passages, and digital-age transformation.
Step back in time and discover how Tallinn transformed from a powerful Hanseatic trading city into one of Europe's most innovative digital nations.
Join your local guide for a fascinating walk through Tallinn's UNESCO-listed Old Town, where medieval streets, merchant houses, defensive towers, and historic churches tell the story of more than 800 years of history.
Your journey begins at Viru Gate, the traditional entrance to the Old Town. From there, you'll explore the city's most important landmarks while learning how merchants, kings, knights, and empires shaped Tallinn over the centuries.
Stroll through charming cobbled streets and hidden passages before reaching the famous Town Hall Square, the historic heart of medieval Tallinn. Hear stories about the wealthy Hanseatic merchants who brought prosperity to the city and helped make Tallinn one of Northern Europe's most important trading centers.
Continue through the atmospheric streets of the Lower Town, where you'll discover medieval guild houses, defensive walls, and fascinating legends that reveal what daily life was like hundreds of years ago.
The tour then climbs to Toompea Hill, the historic seat of power in Estonia. Here you'll see the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Toompea Castle, and the Estonian Parliament while learning how Danish, German, Swedish, Russian, Soviet, and Estonian rulers left their mark on the city.
Along the way, your guide will connect Tallinn's medieval past with its remarkable modern transformation into a global leader in digital innovation, home to internationally known companies such as Skype, Wise, and Bolt.
The experience concludes at one of Tallinn's most spectacular viewpoints, where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the red rooftops, church spires, city walls, and the Baltic Sea.
This tour is perfect for first-time visitors who want to understand Tallinn's history, culture, architecture, and modern identity in a fun, engaging, and easy-to-follow way.
