From Skagway: White Pass Summit Guided Bus Tour

During this 3-hour Skagway highlights tour, we will visit the Gold Rush Cemetery, where your guide will share stories about the fortune seekers who called Skagway home during the Gold Rush. Reid Falls, a short hike up the hill from the cemetery, is one of the local favorites. This 300-foot waterfall, named after a local hero, is absolutely beautiful and a great backdrop for those special family pictures.

We will travel over the rugged coastal mountain range with glacier-fed waterfalls while amidst the temperate rainforest. This area is rich in history and full of stunning views! There is always an opportunity to see wildlife on the pass, such as Mountain goats, Black bears, Marmot, and Ptarmigan.

The White Pass is the perfect backdrop for family and group photos. A stop at Bridal Veil Falls will allow you to try out the magic of the falls. We will stop at the Alaska sign near the summit and have that calendar perfect picture opportunity.

We will also visit the Skagway Overlook, where you can capture the beauty of the Skagway while the ships are in the inlet. The lookout gives a panorama view of the big city (all one mile), the Dewey Peaks and the longest, deepest fjord in North America. It's the perfect time to get that picture of your ship!

As a bonus for this tour, there is a built-in waterfall tour. This trip features all the scenic waterfall destinations located in town up the Klondike Highway (Passports are required). The tour will stop at beautiful viewing platforms for great photo opportunities. The guide will give informative commentary, history, and colorful descriptions of each waterfall and destination:

Reid Falls (including an optional 10-minute rain forest hike up to the falls located in the Gold Rush Cemetery.)
Bridal Veil Falls (you can put your hands in this water. You’re so close)
Pitch Fork Falls (the 2nd largest waterfall in Southeast Alaska)

The final stop is the Skagway City Overlook.
