Antibes: French courses in the old town of Antibes

Spend a week learning French by the Mediterranean: four lessons every morning in a class of twelve students maximum, with a school that has been teaching since 1985.
Every weekday morning in Antibes, you take four 45-minute French lessons — twenty over the week — in a class of no more than twelve students, at your own level, from complete beginner to C2.

The Centre International d'Antibes has taught French since 1985, to more than 150,000 students from over eighty countries. Teaching follows an active method: speaking first, then listening, writing, grammar and pronunciation, with plenty of speaking time for each student in a small group. You take an online placement test before you arrive, so you join the right class on the first morning instead of losing a day to assessment.

The school holds the Qualité FLE label awarded by the French state and is a member of EAQUALS. Ten of its twenty teachers are official DELF examiners.

Lessons run Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:20, which leaves your afternoons free: the beaches are a few minutes away, and so are the Picasso museum, the Provençal market and the coastal path around Cap d'Antibes. Your classmates come from all over the world, which makes French the common language from the first coffee break onwards.

The week ends with a certificate of attendance. Accommodation is not included: you stay where you like and come to the school each morning.
