Ventimiglia — Your first stop in Italy. Stroll through the medieval old town, climb up to the 11th-century Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, and soak up the Italian atmosphere over a real cup of coffee.
Dolceacqua — A village divided into two parts connected by a 15th-century medieval bridge that Claude Monet painted several times. Climb to Doria Castle for panoramic views of the olive groves and taste Rossese, the local red wine.
Apricale — Voted one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Stone-lined alleys, murals by local artists, the Lucertola Castle… A timeless, almost deserted place where you can stop for lunch at a trattoria.
San Remo — La Pigna, the historic spiral-shaped neighborhood, offers a maze of narrow streets that wind their way up to a sanctuary with sea views. End the day on the Belle Époque waterfront before returning to Nice.
