Please note that the fountains do not operate on Tuesdays from 02 March to 20 May, or on Tuesdays from 26 June to 31 October. However, classical Baroque music will be playing throughout the gardens during these dates.
Exit the train station at Versailles Château Rive Gauche (several stations say “Versailles” make sure it's this one), and walk into McDonalds. Exit out the back right door and walk through the mall past the video game stores to the corner shop full of bikes. Our suggestion is to arrive early and eat lunch in Versailles.
