Our first destination is the enchanting Martvili Canyon. Here, the Abasha River has spent millions of years carving a limestone masterpiece. You’ll step into a small boat to glide through the canyon’s narrowest parts, where the turquoise water is so clear you can see the riverbed below. Moss-covered cliffs rise high on either side, draped in hanging vines and ferns. After the boat ride, we’ll walk the forest trails and stone bridges, stopping at viewing platforms to witness the powerful cascades of hidden waterfalls. It is a place of peace, where the only sound is the gentle rush of water.
Next, we head to the depths of the earth at Prometheus Cave, one of Europe’s most impressive underground systems. As you wander through its six massive halls, you’ll be surrounded by a stunning forest of stalactites and stalagmites that have grown over millennia.
