* **TRAFFIC & DEPARTURE:** Severe road closures and massive crowds start by 6 PM. Taxis cannot access the lower embankments. Use public transport (BudapestGO app) and arrive early.
* **PUNCTUALITY:** Boats depart STRICTLY on time to secure anchor spots before river closures. No waiting for latecomers; no refunds for missed departures.
* **TICKETS:** Download or screenshot your QR code beforehand due to spotty riverside mobile networks.
* **BAR & FOOD:** Cashless bar only (no AMEX). No outside food or drinks permitted. Please reuse your glass for refills.
* **ID & AGE:** Alcohol is served only to 18+. A physical passport or national ID is required (no student IDs). Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet the Bud By Boat crew at 0-s kikötő (Dock 0), Carl Lutz rakpart, Budapest 1137. The dock is on the Pest embankment just north of Margaret Bridge. Walk down to the lower riverside level and look for the large red “0” sign on the pier. Our uniformed crew will be waiting at the boarding gate. The dock may appear as “Rubin Group” on Google Maps; always follow the exact map pin shown on your final voucher. This option does not depart from Akadémia 3 Dock. By public transport, take Tram 4 or 6 to Jászai Mari tér, then walk approximately 8 minutes north along the embankment. Tram 2 also stops at Jászai Mari tér. Due to the August 20 national holiday, expect major road closures, restricted taxi access, crowded public transport, and large pedestrian crowds. Use BudapestGO for live routing and arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. The boat leaves exactly on time and cannot wait for late arrivals.
