Day 1: Kochi

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Kochi. Visit the Mattancherry Jewish Synagogue, St. Thomas Church, and the iconic Chinese fishing nets. See the Dhobhiwala laundry and gain insight into the local way of life.

Next, head to Vaikom Village and check in to your homestay or resort. Spend the night in the village and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 2: Vaikom Village

Start your day with a visit to a local temple. Then, head to a pottery workshop and learn about the traditional craft. Return to your homestay for a cooking class, where you’ll learn to prepare authentic local dishes, followed by lunch.

After lunch, visit a handloom workshop and see how traditional textiles are made. Then, enjoy a country boat ride through the natural canals and channels. Visit a village home to see coir-making and learn and experience this traditional craft.

End your day with a shikara boat ride through the Vaikom backwaters and Vembanad Lake.
