After Padar Island, continue toward Komodo Island, the natural habitat of the famous Komodo dragon. The ranger helps visitors understand how to behave safely around wildlife and provides information about the Komodo dragon and its environment.

During the walk, keep your eyes open for Komodo dragons and other wildlife that may be present in the surrounding landscape. Komodo dragons are wild animals, and their behavior and location cannot be predicted. For this reason, sightings are not guaranteed. The island is more than simply a place to search for Komodo dragons. It is also an opportunity to experience the natural landscape where these reptiles live.

Continue your journey to Pink Beach, one of the most recognizable beaches in Komodo National Park. The beach is known for its pinkish-colored sand, created by a mixture of pale sand and fragments of red coral that have been naturally broken down over time. The intensity of the pink color can vary depending on sunlight, weather, tide, and viewing conditions.

At Pink Beach, take time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Depending on the conditions, activities may include swimming, snorkeling, taking photographs, walking along the beach, and relaxing by the water. The clear tropical water around the beach also provides an opportunity to observe marine life.
