Begin your day with a convenient hotel pickup from Yogyakarta and head to the protected area of Merapi National Park. Embark on a guided morning trek to one of the closest publicly accessible viewpoints of Mount Merapi.

Start from the entrance area with iconic volcano views and continue through forest trails, an ancient riverbed formed by volcanic activity, and gentle uphill paths surrounded by fresh mountain air, birdsong, and occasional wild monkeys.

Stop at Post 2 to enjoy a relaxing coffee or tea break with fresh bread while taking in spectacular panoramic views of Mount Merapi. Continue to Post 3 to see the historic lava flow route from the 2010 eruption before reaching Kalitalang Viewpoint at Post 4, located approximately 3.3 kilometers from the summit of Mount Merapi and well known as a trail running destination with breathtaking volcano scenery.

After completing the trek, continue the journey to Pindul Cave, where you can relax after the morning hike by floating on an inflatable tube through a beautiful limestone cave with crystal-clear water, impressive rock formations, and natural light entering through the cave ceiling.

Continue the adventure with river tubing along the Oyo River, drifting through calm water, passing small rapids, cliffs, lush tropical vegetation, and beautiful natural scenery, creating the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation.
