From Reykjavik: South Coast Tour with Reykjaböð Hot Springs South Coast and Reykjaböð Hot Springs (Classic Admission)

This full day tour combines Iceland's best-known South Coast sights with a relaxing way to end the day. Visit Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss, Vík, Reynisfjara and soak in the Reykjaböð Hot Springs
Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel, guesthouse, or a designated bus stop in Reykjavík. Once everyone is on board, head out of town and make a quick stop at a gas station in Hvolsvöllur to grab a coffee, breakfast, or candy, use the restrooms, or simply stretch your legs.

Continue to Skógafoss, one of Iceland's most photogenic and visited waterfalls. Admire the waterfall from the steps on the right side for a beautiful view from above, or stand right in front of it to feel its power. If the sun is shining, you might even see a rainbow.

Next, visit Vík, a small fishing village on the other side of the mountain where Reynisfjara is located. Take in the spectacular views and get a sense of how Icelandic fishermen lived back in the day.

Then, head to Reynisfjara, the most famous black sand beach on the island and one of the most well-known in the world. Marvel at the dramatic landscape, with glaciers and volcanoes all around, and see the basaltic columns by the beach. Admire the three cliffs called Reynisdrangar rising up in the ocean with the island Dyrahólaey not far away. Stop for lunch at a small cozy restaurant.

The last stop of the day before heading to the hot springs is Seljalandsfoss, one of the most popular waterfalls in Iceland. In the summer, you can walk behind it and take amazing selfies. Seljalandsfoss is about 60 meters (200 ft) high, and you can get really close to it. There is a coffee shop here and restrooms as well.

As the day winds down, stop at Reykjaböð, a geothermal bathhouse in a valley surrounded by mountains. Soak in warm water while steam drifts across the hillside and the valley goes quiet around you. It's a calm, warm finish to a day spent outdoors, before the drive back to Reykjavík, where your guide drops you off at day's end.
