Explore the best of Italy in five unforgettable days. Depart Rome and head to Assisi to visit the Basilica of St. Francis and enjoy a local lunch. Continue to Siena, home to the UNESCO-listed Piazza del Campo, before reaching Florence for your first overnight stay.
In Florence, the Renaissance capital, see the Duomo, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and Santa Croce Basilica. Lunch is served in a traditional Tuscan restaurant, and you may choose free time in the city or an optional excursion to Pisa.
Next, travel to Bologna for a walking tour from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza Maggiore. Admire San Petronio Basilica and Palazzo del Podestà. Enjoy a light lunch with regional specialties before continuing to Venice.
