Begin your evening at Odori Park, a green oasis that cuts through the center of Sapporo. As the sun sets, the park transforms into a beautifully lit promenade, with fountains and seasonal illuminations creating a romantic atmosphere. Stroll along the tree-lined paths toward the Sapporo TV Tower, one of the city’s most recognizable symbols.

The highlight of the night is entry to the TV Tower’s observation deck, located 90 meters above the ground. From here, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Sapporo illuminated against the night sky. Odori Park stretches out below like a sparkling ribbon of lights, while the surrounding city glitters endlessly, framed by distant mountain silhouettes. After descending from the tower, your guide will lead you to the Sapporo Clock Tower (Tokeidai), built in 1878. Though closed at night, its white wooden exterior glows beautifully under evening lights. Standing quietly among the modern buildings of downtown, the clock tower remains a beloved symbol of the city’s pioneering spirit and offers an atmospheric photo stop.

Finally, the tour takes you to the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, affectionately known as the Red Brick Office (Akarenga Chosha). Lit dramatically against the night sky, its 120-year-old red brick façade creates a striking contrast with the modern city around it. Though the interior is closed in the evening, viewing the illuminated exterior offers a powerful sense of Sapporo’s history and pride.
