1-Day Petra & Wadi Rum Safari from Amman

06:00 AM – Early Morning Pickup: Your day begins with a prompt pickup directly from your hotel or preferred location in Amman. Settle into your modern, air-conditioned vehicle and catch up on sleep or watch the sweeping desert landscapes pass by as we journey south along the Desert Highway.

09:30 AM – Step Into Ancient Petra: Arrive at the main visitor center of Petra. Walk through the deep, towering sandstone walls of the Siq until they part to reveal the jaw-dropping facade of the world-famous Treasury ($Al-Khazneh$). You will have 3 to 4 hours of self-paced exploration to photograph the Treasury, walk the Street of Facades, view the Royal Tombs, and grab a quick local lunch.

01:30 PM – Scenic Transit to the Desert: Meet your driver back at the designated meeting point and board your private vehicle. We leave the mountains of Wadi Musa behind and head deeper south toward the vast, protected wilderness of the Wadi Rum desert.

03:30 PM – Exhilarating 4x4 Desert Safari: Arrive at the Wadi Rum visitor center and transition straight into an open-air 4x4 jeep driven by an expert local Bedouin guide. Cruise across a landscape that looks like another planet, exploring massive red sand dunes, natural rock arches, and dramatic canyon walls featured in major Hollywood blockbusters.

05:30 PM – Bedouin Sunset & Tea: As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, painting the desert peaks in brilliant shades of orange and crimson, we pause at a scenic viewpoint. Relax on traditional floor cushions and enjoy hot, fresh Bedouin sage tea brewed over an open fire.

06:30 PM – The Return Journey: Wave goodbye to the desert stars as you climb back into your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Sit back and unwind on the smooth, quiet drive back north.

10:00 PM – Arrival in Amman: Your marathon day concludes with a hassle-free drop-off directly back at your hotel or original departure point in Amman.
